In less than 24 hours after he was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has been decorated with his new rank by Kashim Shettima at the State House.
The event which took place at about 1 pm on Tuesday was graced by different dignitaries across the nation among which were; Ribadu Nuhu( National Security Adviser), Hope Uzodinma( The Chairman of Progressives Governor’s Forum), the president’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the immediate past IGP, Usman Alkali, and other well-wishers.
