Yes, it is feasible.
But it will be very difficult.
“He is the one” on the ballot, and he has the resources, structure, experience and, most importantly, the commitment to win. Because the election is personal to him.
Who is “He is the one”?
So far, the opposition parties in Rivers State have not demonstrated the strategy, capacity and intent required to win.
The timeline leaves only about two effective months to achieve victory.
Any opposition party that wants to win the governorship election in Rivers State should step back and constitute a small, confidential team of strategists, governance experts and political practitioners with relevant experience.
The team should be tasked with developing an unusual and innovative winning strategy that addresses the critical issues of ethnic and regional buy-in, shared vision, messaging, participatory funding, gatekeeping, coalition-building and grassroots mobilisation.
The strategic team should operate under a hybrid deferred-compensation scheme, aligning professional commitment with the eventual outcome.
